Meet our Board

 Ryan is married to Judy and together they have 4 boys who all attend Jarvis Community Christian School. Ryan and Judy both attended Christian schools throughout their childhood and still see tremendous value in it. Judy is an active member at JCCS and is currently serving on the board there. Ryan has previously served as chairman of deacons and has also served on the church executive at Jarvis Ebenezer CRC where his family attends church. He currently serves as elder and is on the finance committee. Ryan and Judy run a mixed farming operation with: hogs, chickens and organic cash crops. Also, for the past 13 years, Ryan has and continues to sell and service milking equipment. They are both excited to have Cornerstone Christian High School established in time for their children to attend.  Proverbs 3:6 “In all your ways submit to Him and He will make you paths straight.” 

 Mark is married to his lovely wife Rachel and they have 3 children. Mark attended Christian schools while growing up and can still see the value in it. They send their 3 children to Jarvis Community Christian School. Mark and Rachel attend church at York CRC and together are involved in many activities and committees within their church and school. Rachel currently serves on the board at JCCS. Together, Mark and Rachel own and operate a grain farm as well as a custom farming operation near Hagersville. Mark is also involved in leadership within the local plowing association. Mark values a close community and the Christ-centered environment that Christian schools have to offer. He is excited to be a part of establishing Cornerstone Christian High School and looks forward to seeing it become an avenue for the body of Christ to flourish. He believes our goals as Christians are to raise up generations of children that

love and serve Jesus.

 Katlyn is a wife to Joe and a mother to 3 energetic boys. Her children attend Jarvis Community Christian School. Katlyn is an active volunteer in the nursery and on the worship team at Kingsway Christian Church where she attends weekly with her family. Katlyn currently works at Wilfrid Laurier University as a Manager in Accessible Learning. She has worked in post-secondary education for more than 10 years in roles related to academic support and accommodations for students with disabilities. Katlyn is a certified OCT teacher and also has experience with institutional research. Katlyn looks forward to sending her children to Cornerstone Christian High School as she sees it being a place where her boys will be encouraged to build a foundational faith, as well as the skills and knowledge needed to support them.  Colossians 2:7 “Let your roots grow down into Him and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”  

Jeff Hogeterp is married to Chris and they have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. All 4 of their children attended JCCS and HDCH and now 2 of their grandchildren attend JCCS and one attends CCS Unity campus. Jeff has previously served on the board at JCCS and has been an elder at Jarvis Ebenezer CRC, where he and his wife still attend. Jeff and Chris both have a deep love for and a desire to see Christian education thrive. They live in Jarvis and are both excited to see Cornerstone Christian High School as another Christian school option for the people of Haldimand-Norfolk and abroad.
